What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:

Ensure that all of company\'s software products have been thoroughly tested successfully prior to each release by covering both new features and regression test cases
Create and document detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans following test-driven development (TDD) methodologies and QA best practices; maintain documentation and test artifacts
Ensure applications are running smoothly in production after deployments via smoke test
Review user stories as part of our sprint planning process. Identify test requirements, design test plans, and document test scripts
Develop a deep understanding of our users and how they behave in our software
Register defects and follow the standard defect management process to communicate product issues to internal stakeholders and work collaboratively to resolve
Collaborate with product team to triage and prioritize bugs for future sprints
Collaborate with QA Automation by providing prioritized and documented test cases for automated testing
Perform root cause analysis on defects; collaborate with engineering team by providing detailed steps for reproduction of defects
Take initiative to identify and resolve issues proactively
Assist and advise on best practices for testing, and make recommendations to improve efficiency and performance
Participate in various project engagements such as business discovery, design workshop and acceptance test plan reviews

Who we are looking for:

Excellent organization skills - managing test data, test cases and reporting frequent updates to product owners
An empathetic collaborator that works well with engineers, product managers, customer success, and leadership team
Excellent proactive communicator, both written and verbal, with a knack for knowing when and who to include in communications
Ability to meet tight deadlines on a daily basis
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Self-starter and able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic, fast paced environment
Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills
Familiar with Agile software development methodology
2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
2+ years of experience testing web on mobile and desktop
1+ year of experience with test documents
