Job Description
Deliverables:
- 24*7 support for IP/MPLS SOC team
- Identification of Network problems and fix implementation
- Coordination with Mobility circle & ER// NOC for outage restoration.
- Action implementation for network improvement.
- Engagement with OEM / Planning / TAC3 for RCA& Action Plan discussion
- Documentations of SOP / Knowledge base and learnings
- Daily / Monthly MIS reporting and analysis.
- Vendor management and RCA analysis provided by vendor.
- Skill set monitoring of team members and training arrangement
- Team performance analysis and improvement action
- 10-12 Year Exp in core IP/MPLS/ISP Network operation
- Understanding of Telecom Network.
- Must have very strong knowledge & working experience with Cisco ASR9K, 903, 920, Nokia IXR, Juniper (m320, MX960, mx2020) network product lines and technologies.
- In-depth understanding and Hands on experience with routing protocols such as: BGP, OSPF, ISIS etc.
- In-depth understanding and Hands on experience with MPLS, EVPN, RSVP-TE, Segment Routing.
- Internet / ISP related issues Like (Packet drop / Latency)
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting on complex L3 VPN services, L2 VPLS domain.
- Good communication skill and customer centric approach.
- Expertise in QOS design and configuration
- In depth understanding & knowledge of various switching protocols. eg. STP, PVSTP, MSTP, LLDP etc.
- Hands-on experience on handling tools like BMC Remedy, ECRM, Net-cool, MRTG etc.
