Job Summary As a SME of the Automation team, the person will be responsible for developing and maintaining Automation Solutions for business operations. Automation SME is responsible for interacting with Global IT, Business and Operations teams to provide high quality automated solutions through SharePoint, Excel/Access VBA, SQL, Xceptor QlickView etc. to the internal clients and meet the agreed and expected service standards. The job role may involve management, coordination or contribution to one, few or all phases of SDLC. The ideal candidate for this role would bring in expertise in designing and developing software meeting quality standards defined for the team and the franchise. This is an individual contributor role for EUC/Application Support Automation team in a 24/7 Environment. Solid understanding of the Investment Banking business and Capital Markets domain knowledge is highly recommended. Commitment to continuous process improvement is required. Job Purpose: Looking to hire a developer to be a part of the Business Support group. The candidate hired on this role would be responsible for delivering on the mandatory and regulatory requirements to on board business exceptions into X-Stream and inquiries management for businesses into QMA. The ideal candidate for this role would bring in expertise in designing and developing software meeting quality standards defined for the team and the franchise. Job background/ context: This is Team Lead role for EUC/Automation front in a 24/7 Environment This person will assume individual contributor role in terms of sending some of the high prioritised work on communication/feedback/query received from onshore Co-ordination with internal and external teams will be a key factor. Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Advanced working knowledge of VBA in MS Excel, Macros, MS Access, MS SharePoint, .NET and SQL

Key Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of the EUC Member role include: Ideal candidate would be a self-contained individual contributor with a go getter attitude to develop software meeting the laid down quality metrics within the project environment The candidate would have prior working experience in a competitive, high paced environment to deliver software to meet business needs Experience with high performance & high volume distributed enterprise systems in multi-threading and database performance tuning Strong database development capabilities RDBMS and No SQL Knowledge of design methodologies; design of complex multi-dimensional systems Display sound analytical, problem solving, presentation and inter-personal skills to handle various critical situations Ability to carry out adaptive changes necessitated by changes in business requirements and technology Post trade processing experience; Familiarity with trade life cycle and associated business processes Development value:

  • Should have worked on various technologies like VBA in MS Excel, Macros, MS Access, MS SharePoint, .NET and SQL and develops applications, databases and EUCs
  • Requirement gathering, analysing the requirement and implementing the solution in the requisite technology depending on the usage structure of the application, database or the EUC
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues from other departments
  • The ability to identify and successfully implement operational changes, risk mitigation strategies
  • A high level of integrity with a commitment to service excellence
  • Good business judgement, knowing when to escalate, who to keep informed to identify appropriate next steps / resolution
  • Have knowledge of software development life cycle and testing procedures
Qualifications:
  • BE/ B Tech /BSc./ B Com with Technical background
Candidate should have 7+ years of overall experience.
