As a Senior Technical Writer, you are expected to:
Preferred to have prior experience in Software Product company as a Technical Writer
Manage and deliver one or more projects as needed.
Develop an understanding of the business, domain and technology of the project(s) you may be assigned to.
Meet the project deadlines and meet or exceed customer expectations.
Handle routine tasks of your assigned projects independently. These will include planning, estimating, researching, interacting with stakeholders, writing, reviewing and publishing.
Recommend or follow the prescribed style guides. Take an active part in identifying gaps and improving the house style guides.
Adhere to writing standards and develop minimalistic content
Quickly start demonstrating expertise in the authoring tools being used in the project.
Be flexible and adapt to changing client needs to handle aggressive schedules.
Be ready to learn, multi-task, take direction from TechTalks' or Client's Management and show continuous improvement based on constructive feedback and comments.
Perform peer and editorial reviews. Take an active part in suggesting and preparing various checklists for editorial reviews.
Mentor junior writers to help them become more efficient and productive
Deliver and manage multiple types of content including technical content, manuals, Wiki, release notes, user content, training content, knowledge base articles, videos, storyboards, and so on.
