Market Operations Customer Support is part of the LSEG Operations function which support all operation activities within the Capital Markets Division and D&A Trading. Our vision is to be an effective and efficient growth enabler for business services and products, that help generate confidence in our Markets while consciously and positively influencing valuation for the Group. The Senior Technical Writer will create and enhance the process by publishing the process of the Market Operation teams. This will increase the operational efficiency of the publication cycle. The role requires improving the integration process of the data and publishing infrastructure. The Technical Writer will be critically involved in evolving the current publishing process to the next generation. We seek a candidate with demonstrable, proven expertise in technical writing. The candidate must have experience working with multiple deadlines, products, and teams. The ability to manage one's workload in this environment is critical. Clean communication and productive collaborative skills are a must. The writer must be capable of 'reading between the lines' to identify information that needs further explanation or clarification. Technical Writer Roles and Responsibilities Review, Sign-off and publish technical documents for the whole Market Operations Liaison between product teams (developers, product managers, QA) to understand and fulfill documentation needs for Customer Support Operations Craft technically accurate and user-focused content according to product team specifications and user needs Partner with Editorial Team to help review client facing documents Own existing product libraries update documents with new or updated information, create new documents as needed, and archive older documents. Actively assist in redesigning existing documentation/information structure. Partner with Market Operation Customer Support Specialist/Knowledge Coaches/Practitioners to determine gaps and document requirements Partner with L&D to ensure that training materials are up-to-date and relevant to current product documents Partner with Product Management and SAM to come up and maintain client training materials Partner with CIPS/TIS to come up with and maintain product technical documentation and troubleshooting guides for client's IT/Market Data. Partnering with Knowledge Management team to enhance KM DB, Workspace Help and Support Application, and my.refinitiv. articles Maintain and update Market Operation SharePoint portal Responsible for sending timely updates to stakeholders Skills and Experience: Knowledge of publishing software required, with the familiarity of Microsoft Publisher and PowerPoint preferred Knowledge of Microsoft Office required, with an emphasis on data processing within a publishing environment Familiarity with data processing and visualization software preferred Excellent communication skills and strong self-motivation needed to work efficiently in a global team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good attention to detail, and ability to adhere to deadlines required Familiarity with and interest in financial research are strongly preferred Experience in leading a team of workflow specialists in terms of project management and business development GitHub, SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA Familiar with financial industry concepts Experience in using the WebWorks tool otherwise experience in authoring help systems, or use of an HTML/XML editing tool) At LSEG, we believe that creating a diverse and inclusive organisation is fundamental to the way we deliver on our promise of creating essential partnerships and open opportunities.
