We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect for our Cloud OTA product line who can straddle both business requirements and technology implementations to deliver robust, enterprise-class solutions. The Solution Architect role is one of the core leadership roles in all of our implementations. This role encompasses aspects of Technical Architect and Subject Matter Expert. The Solution Architect owns the design of all functional and technical aspects of a solution.

Job Skills & Qualifications

Education, experience

• Masters or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or equivalent work experience is required.
• A minimum 8 years of total IT experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Thales

Technical Skills

Architecture & Deployment

• Sound knowledge and hands on with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins & Microservices.
• Expert knowledge on SQL and Non SQL databases like Cassandra.
• Sound knowledge on deployment over AWS/GCP.
• Good knowledge on software security principles.
• Knowledge of VMware, Openstack, Kibana, Elastic search or Data dog is good to have.

Development & Validation

• Experience in micro-services architectures.
• Expert developer in Java8 and Java EE 7 or higher: CDI, Tom EE or Wildfly or liberty.
• Expert on TDD (Junit, Mockito, Pact, Jococo) & ATDD.
• Expert in defining test strategies.
• Expert in Log4j2, REST API & Linux.
• Python knowledge is good to have

Delivery Tools

• Good knowledge on CI/CD(Mercurial, Git, Maven, Jenkins)
• Candidate must be hands on with software delivery process & tools \xe2\x80\x93 Scrum, Kanban & Jira.
• Experience on Static code analysis with Sonar, Fortify etc is required.
• Knowledge on confluence will be a plus.
