Senior Software Engineering Manager The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation application enhancements and new products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications, and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners. What you’ll achieve You will be a part of a global team responsible for developing sophisticated system software for the industry leading Dell storage appliance. You will:

• Functions in leadership role within major projects
• Designs and develops the largest, most complex total systems for organization-wide systems solutions
• Makes decisions on operating procedures, analytical approaches, and workflow
• Provides technical expertise utilized in areas such as marketing, business acquisition and client support
• Provides significant support in areas such as research studies, feasibility studies, tradeoff analysis, operation studies, design reviews and technical briefings

Essential Requirements

• Possesses strong knowledge, skills and abilities required to resolve product development issues and experience with SCRUM/Agile development methodologies
• Proven ability to manage a department or a group with multiple disciplines
• Typically requires 12+ years of related experience in a professional role or equivalent combination with education
• Typically requires 4+ years managerial/leadership experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Requirements

• 12 to 15 years of relevant experience
• 4 years managerial experience
