Position Summary


Game Development Executive: Responsible for overseeing the activities of the overall game development function or a portion of an entire business group responsible for the design of new products and/or enhancements to existing products or product lines/franchises. This executive oversees the analysis, design, programming, debugging and modification of electronic games developed for online or packaged distribution. Interacts with company leadership as well as key customer constituencies. Internally, provides overall direction to project managers and key business leaders by defining business requirements and franchise direction, and potentially product marketing and/or sales.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization\xe2\x80\x99s policies and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include, but are not limited to: training and mentoring employees; planning, assigning, delegating and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and resolving employee issues.
Job Level Description
Oversees and directs work of directors, managers and their subordinates. Larger scope; more strategic impact than Director.

Qualifications

Education
Degree preferred.
