About Our Client
Our client is an industrial real estate platform focused on the logistics and warehousing segment in India. They are looking for a Senior Manager/ Deputy General Manager Legal for their in-house legal team who will report to the Legal Head- Drafting and review of Real Estate documentation i.e. Conveyance / Sale Deeds, Lease, License, Title due diligence etc.
- Drafting and review of business agreements (including corporate documentation such as shareholder\'s agreement), tenders etc. and any disputes / litigation arising there from
- Providing critical and proactive legal and strategic advice on a wide range of complex issues relating to the organisation\'s business.
- Contractual risk evaluation and recommend mitigation measures;
- Interacting with other functions / departments for all matters that may give rise to legal team\'s role; and
- Carrying out exhaustive research on Case Laws and latest amendments to relevant laws and conducting interactive sessions with other departments.
The Successful Applicant
You must have an LLB from a reputed institute in India with 4-7 years of experience ideally with a large sized Real Estate organisation or a Law Firm. You must be well versed with corporate, commercial and real-estate laws especially Contract Act, Transfer of Property Act and Companies Act. You must have a sound commercial acumen and the ability to handle / take through complex transactions independently. You must have excellent communication skills and drafting / negotiation skillsWhat\'s on Offer
