General Manager/Deputy General Manager
- Facilitate the top management to develop a compulsive Six-Sigma Vision
- Promote TQM & communicate the vision across the organization
- Strategize the TQM Movement in line with the business strategy
- Customize the implementation approach to suit the organization culture
- Manage and implement change
- Determine project selection criterion
- Plan necessary financial and human resources to ensure project success
- Identify TQM competency gaps, design and implement competency building program
- Design Certification criterion
- Coach the top management in providing the desired leadership for change
- Develop appropriate linkage with KRA and PMS
- Implement reward and recognition policies
- Communicate success stories in appropriate media
- Develop long term (1-3 yrs), Medium Term (1-2 years) and Short Term (quarterly) implementation plan
- Develop standards for project working, completion and documentation
- Approve project closures after due documentation
- Review the progress of the initiative and report to the top management
- Design and deliver TQM related training in the plant/identify appropriate faculty
- Coach the Black Belts, sponsors, Asset care Champion and team leaders in various problem solving methodologies
- Coach the plant management in providing the desired leadership for change
- Certify BB and GBs
- Provide Managerial Leadership for facilitating various activities within the policy framework of the organization.
- Provide effective services to various internal and external clients of the Group.
- Proactively meet the needs of the internal clients.
- Provide support to the top management with respect to strategic decision-making and advice on important organizational issues.
- Ensure effective implementation of the Performance Management System and the other processes related to the system.
- Demonstrated analytical problem solving and organizational ability coupled with strong communication and excellent relationship management.
- Demonstrated ability in identifying areas of improvement and recommending process reengineering with conceptualizing need-based training programs coupled with coaching & mentoring to enhance the efficiency & effectiveness.
Technical Skills :
- Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, TQM, QMS & EMS Systems, Analytical Problem Solving, Process Improvements, Process Reengineering, Project Management, Operational Expertise, Business Acumen, Change Management.
