Team Leader - Save Soil ProjectJob Summary:
The Team Lead for the Save Soil Project at Banas Dairy Co-operative will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of the project. This role involves working closely with the ISHA Team, maintaining communication between on-ground teams and senior management, providing regular updates using Gantt charts, and ensuring constant project evaluation and realignment based on evolving needs. The Team Lead will play a crucial role in achieving the project\'s objectives and ensuring its success.Save Soil Project will also involve soil testing lab and collection of samples, detailed farmer surveys, farmer trainings, interaction with subject experts, establishing of farmers help line and call centres, establishing and strategizing of farmer input stores and leading all the ground level teams.Key Responsibilities:Project Management:- Take ownership of the Save Soil Project and manage it effectively from Banas Dairy\'s perspective.- Setting of project goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).Coordination with ISHA Team:- Collaborate closely with the ISHA Team to align project activities and objectives with the organization\'s overall goals.- Facilitate effective communication and cooperation between the two teams.On-Ground Team and Senior Management Coordination:- Act as a bridge between on-ground project teams and senior management at Banas Dairy.- Ensure that senior management is well-informed about project progress and challenges.Project Planning and Execution:- Develop detailed project plans and timelines, including the use of Gantt charts.- Oversee project implementation, monitoring progress, and addressing any issues that arise.Constant Evaluation and Realignment:- Continuously evaluate project performance and results against predefined goals and KPIs.- Make data-driven decisions to realign project activities as needed to meet changing requirements.Stakeholder Engagement:- Engage with various stakeholders, including farmers, community representatives, and project partners.- Maintain positive relationships and gather feedback for project improvement.Reporting and Documentation:- Prepare regular project reports and share updates with senior management, utilizing Gantt charts for visual tracking.- Document project achievements, lessons learned, and areas for improvement.Qualifications:- Bachelor\'s degree in any field related to Agriculture.- Master\'s degree in Management.Experience in either:- Agri/ Agri Produce and Sustainability- Work done in Not for Profit or NGO- Any work done with farmers on ground levelSkills/ Attitude:- Demonstrated project management experience with a track record of managing complex projects.- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Proficiency in project management tools and Gantt chart creation.- Data-driven decision-making and analytical skills.- Ability to adapt and realign projects in response to changing needs.- Knowledge of agricultural practices and sustainability is a must.
