About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst .

Responsibilities

• Meet company\'s regulatory, Security and Exchange Commission, and other external financial reporting requirements
• Analyze and interpret business requirements and implementing technical specifications for the filing of Federal Reserve Board quarterly and annual regulatory reports: CCAR, FRY-9C, FRY 11 etc.
• Lead implementation of complex projects and initiatives impacting one or more lines of business
• Demonstrate Strong knowledge on BASEL regulatory reporting standard.
• Identify compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and may support implementation of key risk initiatives
• Promote and facilitate stakeholder development by maintaining ongoing interactions that increases their awareness, understanding, accountability, and engagement in the reporting process
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Communicate and provide consultation with experienced stakeholders throughout the enterprise
• Act as a liaison for regulatory reporting issues with both internal and external audit staffs, as well as, banking and broker dealer regulators
• Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition or improvement to re-engineer technical processes
• Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams
• Leverage domain expertise and data, business, or process analysis to inform and support solution design
• Provide and identify data quality issues and control checks in data model system.
• Adhere to Data Governance standards

Essential Qualifications

• BE/B. Tech/BS/BA or higher in Computer Technology or Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics or Business
• 8+ years of Business Systems Data experience, Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• Strong experience in US Regulatory Reporting and Knowledge on FFIEC 031, FRY 9C Call reports and SEC reports.

Desired Qualifications

• Strong BASEL Implementation experience
• Experience in data analysis and requirement documentation of product types and mapping data for FRY 9C, FFIEC 031, etc.
• Exposure to RWA calculations and associated financial products
• Ability to lead and mentor peer Consultants/Associates
• Good to have experience on Reporting tools like Power BI and Tableau
