The Big Picture

The Senior Engineer - Automation - AutoCAD will be part of a team that is responsible for mapping the current and future requirements of the processes and come up with tools that can cater to the automation of these processes. This role gets you to work on multiple projects across domains over the course of the tenure.

What you can expect as Senior Automation Engineer at Illumine-i:

• You\'ll develop standalone/integrated desktop applications, Macros & Plugins for CAD customization using .NET(C#), VB or other relevant languages.
• You\'ll develop tool/plugin which creates layouts automatically to aid improvements in efficiency within the design process.
• You\'ll do implementation of automation requirement in the area of design in the space of CAD Customization for R&D.
• You\'ll develop, test, and maintain CAD tools and automation for the engineering department.
• You\'ll develop and maintain documentation processes associated with integrated systems including applications, protocols, detailed point lists and revision control.
• You\'ll ceate SOPs and flowcharts for providing KT for the end users.

• Bachelors or Master\'s degree in Civil\\Mechanical\\Electrical\\Electronics\\Computer science engineering with 3-5 years of experience.
• Extensive experience in Design Automation for CAD Plugin Development using C#, .NET, VBA Scripts.
• Proficiency in creating API\'s which communicate with SQL database.

• Understand and comply with best coding practices to ensure high quality deliverables.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Able to plan & work independently for the assigned tasks/project scope.
