Short Description
Job Responsibilities
1. To study and suggest design & application development as per the requirement of the customer, prepare the documentation and commission it within the TAT to the customer’s premises.
2. To design the system architecture for high end automation application and to execute the same till commissioning is done.
3. To provide application demo and pre-sales support to local sales representatives for selection of best configuration of automation hardware.
4. To check the blue prints of the application project of the customers, keeping a check on the project execution in coordination with channel partner engineer.
5. To provide technical support to end users, OEM customers and channel partners on phone / email/ visiting the site.
6. To conduct training programs & technical presentation for customers.
7. To Prepare & conduct Skill upgradation trainings to Channel Partners & Internal Sales team.
8. To do product demo- presentation, trials (PoC) to customers.
9. To coordination with internal departments of Omron to ensure the project application is executed and positioned effectively.
10. Submission of monthly reports, success stories & PoC document.
Job Location - Vadodara
Job Requirements
B.E. OR Equivalent Diploma

• 6 to 9 years of experience in application programming, Experience in installation & commissioning of Automation products like Motion & Machine Vision.
• Experience in installation & commissioning of Vision, Motion devices & Networking
• Knowledge of Industrial Networking and communications like Modbus, Ethernet I/P, EtherCAT, FSoE, Devicenet etc.
• OMRON product programming knowledge would be an added advantage
• Experience in Vision Solution, Safety devices like safety PLC, laser scanner, safety mat, RFID, MSE, Motion applications.
• Knowledge of Robotic applications would be an added advantage
• Good Communication & Presentation skills with an eye for details.
• Ability to work under pressure, target oriented and dedicate extra hours if needed on assignments.
