Short Description
Job Responsibilities:

• To determine proposal feasibility by checking customer RFQs.

• To study and suggest design & system architecture as per the requirement of the customer and prepare the technical proposal.

• To Prepare the project Bill of Material, approach vendors for quotations of the various elements.

• To study the project scope, estimate schedule, cost of project, and prepare commercial proposal.

• To do projects demo- presentation, trials (PoC) to customers.

• To prepare the project management plan and involve in total project life cycle. Initiating, planning, execution, monitoring & control, and closing.

• Programming of PLC, HMI, SCADA, front end developments and Robotics integration.

• To execute the project within schedule timeline and cost, coordination with vendors to complete work done by within the timeline.

• To coordination with internal departments of Omron to ensure the project application is executed and positioned effectively.

• Prepare project handover documents of Electrical, Mechanical and Operation manual.

• To provide technical support to customers, post project handover.

• Submission of PM reports, success stories, & PoC document.

Job Requirements:
Job Location: Chennai

• B.E in Electrical/ Electronics and Communication Engineer OR Equivalent Diploma

• Minimum of 06 to 10 years of experience in project handling, application programming, Experience in installation & commissioning of Automation products like, HMI, PLC, SCADA, VFD, Servo, Robots and Cobots

• Knowledge of Industrial Networking and communications like Device Net, RS232 and RS485, Modbus, Profi-bus, Profi-net, Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT etc.

• Knowledge and experience in Industry 4.0, Digital transformation and IIOT projects.

• Project management capabilities. i.e., Vendor Management, Project Planning, discussion with customers on project status, issues handling, change management, documentation, Slippages handling etc.
