The Role: This role provides accountability to business operations for delivery of the services and projects by I&DD (IT) Services, at the level of cost and quality agreed by the business.This role must establish, sustain, and enhance a working relationship with Project, Location and Executive Managers in a Region, such that business management is aware of and supports IT Services plans, and IT Services is fully informed of business plans and requirements. This role provides the business with Operational and Functional support, including maintaining accountability for Location Service Delivery through partnership with Worley Enterprise Services (WES). Responsibilities: Maintain an efficient and effective working relationship with Project, Location and Executive Managers within the Regions. Remain accountable to Regional business operations management for the cost, quality and delivery of IT Services and projects. Where required by a business operations priority or significant issue with IT Services, this role is accountable to focus relevant IT Services specialist teams to deliver the business need as a matter of priority. Remain current on business and project plans within the regions and ensure IT Location Support Services meet business operations\' initiatives. Ensure Project, Location and Executive Managers remain current on IT Services plans presenting the benefits and gaining their agreement and active support where relevant for that Region or Location. Represent the needs of the business in all IT Location Support projects and provide business operations input to develop and/or update the IT Strategic Plan, architecture and/or standards. Delegate responsibilities to Regional Location Support Directors as appropriate. Oversee the Regional IT Services budgets, expenditures, staffing levels, and Service Delivery functions by WES, inclusive of local operations. Oversee the Real Estate Delivery project portfolio and budget, as executed via PMO processes and methodologies. Oversee \'pastoral care\' for those I&DD Services staff who are deployed in the Regions and have a line manager in another region. This includes: Ensuring that all I&DD staff in the Region are inclusive of the team Executive oversight that IT staff are being considered by their line management for training, development and promotion opportunities regardless of their location Executive oversight that IT staff in the Region are receiving appropriate performance management, coaching and career development from their line management regardless of their location. Qualifications Knowledge / Experience / Competencies Required 15+ years\' experience as Executive in charge of IT Services - preferably for a global organization. 15+ years\' experience with IT Services financial management, IT Services charge-back regimes and procurement of IT Services assets and services at global levels. 15+ years\' experience with assessing the impact and challenges for IT Services of business operations and addressing business needs at a strategic level. Experience with the deployment of relevant ITIL standards, practices and methodologies. Industry Specific Experience: Understanding of ECPM industry, and related IT Services requirements. Understanding of industry business strategies and related I&DD Services enablement. Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Minimum of a bachelor\'s degree in Technical discipline, or equivalent experience. HSE Capability: Completion of Manager-level training related to HSE policies, methodologies, processes and procedures - and competence in deploying them for a Global team. IT Skills: 15+ years\' experience with IT Service provisioning. 10 years\' experience balancing a strategic business focus and day-to-day IT Services and Project delivery in a Shared Services environment. Excellent IT cost modelling skills. People Skills: Proven ability to manage in a virtual team environment. Proven ability with relationship management at management and senior executive levels to gain access to and influence executives and senior managers, in order to gain an understanding of their requirements, to educate them in the business capabilities of new Technical Services functions and capabilities, and to discuss / agree potential deployment opportunities. Proven ability to empathise with internal clients, especially for when Incidents, Problems and / or Changes arise with the provision of Technical Services. Proven ability to work as a team member with Executives and Managers to help define and document their IT Services requirements, within cost and quality specifications. Proven ability to act as a Project Sponsor and guide the activities of projects that are developing / implementing future IT Services. Other: Superior interpersonal communication skills (written, verbal and presentation). Superior negotiation, influencing and facilitation skills. Authority / Freedom to Act / Decision Making (Including Budgetary Responsibility) Extent of Guidance or Control: Oversees the Global Location Support Operating budget for all locations. Once approved, this role oversees and manages the expenditure. Works within the Global Delegation of Authority policy and standards. High degree of autonomy, with reporting to the Group Director, Infrastructure & Operations. Recommends IT Services to a course of action - operational, tactical or strategic - in order to meet a location business need. Impact of Decisions on Results: Failure to gain input and approval for Technical Operations Services plans could lead to increased costs or reduced functionality for business operations. Position Significance Relative to Total Organization: Accountable for meeting required business IT Service levels globally, to enable business operations. Enjoys wide consultation with senior regional business managers and executives to understand and satisfy their need for technology to support their business process operations. Other Relevant Information This role must be sensitive to the needs for flexibility of business operations and provide levels of Technical Services to the Regions at a cost the business is willing to expend - without impacting on the Global strategic capabilities. This role must actively seek to assist the business operations with relevant IT Services to enable future business growth.
