About the department

NN Quality GBS, a part of Novo Nordisk Quality, is an integral part of the NN Quality organisation, and is responsible for executing projects, manage processes and deliver best-in-class services to diverse quality areas (such as Quality Systems, R&D Quality, Operations & Staff Quality and Quality audits) via sub-functional heads. The department consists of 100+ colleagues, supporting the full value chain of Novo Nordisk. This is a team that is ambitious and energetic and is committed to a common purpose, displays mutual trust and values diversity.

The position

We are looking for a passionate leader who will take up the position as Senior Director of NN Quality GBS where you will secure excellent quality operations and ensure the development of the NN Quality GBS organisation in line with SVP area strategy. As Senior Director of NN Quality GBS you will lead a team of department managers and coordinators which together leads more than 100 colleagues, and coach, develop and shape how we work. You will be responsible for ensuring that skills and competences are aligned with both current and future demands.

You will be expected to handle a high level of independence and must engage with the organisation to ensure continuous improvement of current activities and identify and execute on new opportunities of tasks to offshore, automate and digitalise.

You will have a dual role, being part of Quality Systems' (QS) management team as well as GBS' management team. You will refer to the CVP of Quality Systems but have a dotted reporting line to the CVP of GBS. QS consists of more than 220 colleagues, out of which approximately half are located in Bagsvard, Denmark, which includes the other members of QS management team.

Qualifications

You are an experienced and proactive leader who leads through others and set clear strategic directions. You have demonstrated the ability to manage complex projects and have excellent change management capabilities. Your strong cultural awareness and high level of personal integrity and robustness enables you to integrate different views in the decision-making process. You are well organised and create strong results by engaging your employees in taking pride in delivering on their objectives.

You hold a relevant bachelor/master's degree with a minimum of 6 years of leadership experience, out of which 2 years are from leading other leaders, and has a proven track record of creating business results. You have a thorough knowledge of the QMS and the pharmaceutical sector as well as of the regulatory requirements imposed.

Your ability to communicate clear and collaborate is highly required and you are fluent in written and spoken English.
