As the Senior Director of Site Strategy and Operations, you will perform a critical leadership role which will oversee Visa India Technology Center Bengaluru site strategy, operations, budget management, talent engagement and development and site administration. You will work closely with the core business leaders, HR, IT, Communications, Finance, Legal, Real Estate, Administration and drive a common strategic and operational agenda across the organisation.
You will be based in Bengaluru and your responsibilities will include:

• Setting the strategy and defining the roadmap of the site with a goal to deliver higher business value from the tech centre, including driving ownership of strategic tech and product programs at the site and expanding the site footprint
• Defining programs at the site in support of the roadmap, securing alignment and budgetary support for the programs
• Site budget planning, tracking and management reporting
• Serve as a key link between the business units and support functions such as Finance, People team, Procurement, Real Estate and IT and deliver the site related programs
• Defining key metrics for site performance, measuring and benchmarking performance
• Creating and implementing out-of-the-box solutions for key internal operational issues
• Driving an innovation culture and quality agenda across business units using best in class industry practices
• Work with our People Team to design talent programs to attract, develop and retain the best talent
• Communicate site related programs and events to internal and external audiences, appropriately
• Serving as an escalation point for operational issues and providing guidance and leadership for resolving them
• Ensuring operational compliance with respect to local regulatory requirements and Visa's global compliance framework
• Build and device a partnership with tech partners and trade bodies in the ecosystem
• Build and manage a high calibre Site Operations team to assist you in delivering these responsibilities

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

As a successful Senior Director of Site Strategy and Operations, you should:

• Have a BTech or Masters Degree in technology with 15+ years of professional experience
• Have extensive experience in setting strategy, operations management and service delivery in the India arm of a global technology MNC
• Possess experience in driving organisation-wide or centre-wide projects, initiatives and programs
• Possess extensive experience in budgeting, program planning and management
• Possess the leadership qualities to influence without authority across diverse functions and cultures
• Be able to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Possess excellent communication skills - written and oral
