Responsibilities :
- The Senior Director of Digital Marketing & Customer Acquisition is the leader for all our marketing on Express Parcel & D2C clients.
- Reporting to the SVP of Sales and Marketing, the person in this role will lead a team of high-performance marketers to drive awareness, consideration and conversion for our products.
- The person in this role will be a strategic, analytical and results-oriented leader.
- They will design the strategy, and drive the execution plan across paid and owned channels to acquire new customers.
- A successful candidate for this role will have experience in brand management, acquisition marketing - ranging across search marketing, mobile marketing, display advertising, performance social media to name a few.
- This role will closely work with the product and BU head to design the Express Parcel marketing strategy.
- They will design the customer acquisition execution plan, partner with agencies in executing the plan and continuously review and optimize the performance.
- The candidate should have experience leading and developing high-performing teams, an independent, creative problem-solver with great business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously, while managing competing deadlines.
Key Responsibilities Include :
- Own the Express Parcel, Heavy business unit and D2C marketing strategy and execution.
- Owner of customer acquisition for these businesses, across paid, owned and earned channels.
- Work closely with the business unit and relevant product teams on the strategy - customer persona, competition, value proposition messaging - and the associated execution plan.
- Work closely with the business unit and product teams on making the onboarding journey simpler and easier.
- Work closely with brand, sales, and servicing leaders on the roadmap to ensure value creation for customers.
- Build long-term strategies for customer acquisition and lead the team in execution over the short/medium term.
- Own all acquisition optimization efforts and work closely with Product and Marketing - agencies to make it easy for customers to join Delhivery.
- Plan and lead implementation of promotions and other value-perception drivers to trigger customer adoption.
- Work with external platforms, agencies and support partners to ensure the right tooling and optimization of campaigns.
- Mentor and develop a team of high-performing marketers
- Deliver customer acquisition outcomes within financial objectives through annual budget preparation and ongoing forecasting and monitoring results
- Drive robust and detailed measurement and reporting processes
- Work closely with Marketing Analytics and Business Intelligence teams to identify and convert data analysis into actionable insights for customer acquisition
Basic Qualifications :
- Experience in designing and executing marketing strategies
- Has depth and creativity in performance marketing
- Command over the written and spoken language to drive content creation and delivery
- Ability to collaborate with business unit and Product owners to interpret commercial plans and product roadmaps into a marketing/communication plan
- Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal with stakeholders
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Experience managing teams
- Experience guiding creative input, development and execution from concept to completion
- 12+ years of marketing experience
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with analytics, performance monitoring, advertising deployment and attribution tools and ability to do deep data analysis to develop recommendations
- Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale complex projects with multiple stakeholders with high attention to detail
- Strong leader having managed high-performance teams and collaborating with cross functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to turn complex data and insights into easily understood data stories
