We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist. In this role, you will: Excellent technical abilities, leadership, decision making, strong communication skills, and adaptability to new technology The candidate needs to manage end to end project deliveries and should be able resolve any technical issues. The candidate needs to participate in code build and review activities. Manage activities focused on the deployment of projects from requirements gathering, system design, quality assurance, cost control and implementation planning activities as well as post implementation activities. The candidate needs to manage project communication with Business and other stakeholder. Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations The candidate shall be able to manage a team along with technical deliveries Provides help to management, including hiring and training, and keeps management updated on team performance The candidate will be involved in requirement gathering, analysis, build, test, and production support work along with weekend support. The person should have knowledge on Agile and DevOps. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Must have 14+ years of relevant experience Proficient in mainframes with strong hold on various mainframe skills such as COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, VSAM etc Proficient in Open Text Exstream with knowledge of APIs Strong proven experience in project delivery using Agile methodologies as well as SDLC Experience in Retail and Commercial Banking domain Knowledge on electronic data management will be beneficial Proficient in API Design and Deployment along with Development and production support. Experience in various tools such as AppD, Splunk, Jenkins along with DevOps experience to set up automated CICD Pipelines will be added advantage Good experience in designing enterprise applications. Agile and team management skills. Awareness of tools like Confluence, RTC, JIRA, QC, Test Automation etc. You\'ll achieve more when you join HSBC.
