We are recruiting a Senior Consultant Specialist reporting to Chief of Staff - Global Operations and Automation Technology, this is a multi-disciplined role with accountability for the following: The Chief of Staff (CoS) team has cross functional responsibilities focusing on the smooth running of the GO&A Technology department. The Chief of Staff team works collaboratively with the senior leadership team (SLT), business partners (i.e. HR, CCO) and stakeholders across technology and the business. The team\'s core responsibilities include - departmental governance, communications, people and culture, organisational change management and reporting that provides an overarching view of the GO&A department. Achieving these goals and aligning to our GO&A Technology purpose will increase efficiency, remove blockers and enable GO&A Technology to successfully meet departmental objectives. Project Support- Provide support & delivery to CoS lead projects within the team with scope varying depending on the focus areas at a given point in time e.g. Learning and Development project support for the People and Culture team Track and Monitor delivery of CoS Roadmap - Responsible to review the CoS annual plan and manage the internal quarterly review process to ensure key priorities are met and timelines are rebaselined Support Objectives and Key Results (OKR) Tracking and Monitoring - support the Head of Governance with OKR tracking and monitoring to coordinate the GO&A Technology wide delivery CoS ASP People Forum- Partner with Head of ASP to ensure \'global\' people initiatives are executed within ASP region where we have our largest resource presence. Data Analysis - Own data analysis to drive data driven decisions across GO&A Technology CoS pillars Reporting - Develop reports in PowerPoint or dashboards that are tailored to the audience to effectively drive outcomes Prioritisation - Manage and adjust dynamically shifting workload priorities that the SLT need supported Accountabilities for Business, Customers and Stakeholders - Chief of Staff Team Delivery Management: Effectively engage with stakeholders within Technology and Business Lines Manage deliverables across differing levels of priorities and timeframes Ensure deadlines are met and manage expectations when there is risk to delivery Track and monitor actions for senior stakeholders through closure Ongoing support and updates for GO&A Technology OKRs that are communicated across the GO&A Technology team Engage equivalent CoS teams across Technology and DBS Ops Focus on delivery of initiatives for GO&A Technology People within the region Drive data driven decisions through accurate and up-to-date data analysis and reporting Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirement/s: Minimum 5 years of experience. Preferably in Financial Services Degree in Technology or Business related subject preferred Excellent English written and verbal skills Functional Knowledge Good experience in departmental management support Strong data analysis skills to transform data into meaningful action that drive change Strong presentation skills using powerpoint and dashboards for executive reports and outward presentations Outstanding collaboration and teamworking skills. A track record of building strong partnership with business and supporting functions. Customer centric, curious and commercially minded, with an eye for the opportunities and benefits that technology can deliver Experience of tracking and monitoring team roadmap and milestones Leadership & Teamwork An aspiring leader who can influence stakeholders across hierarchies and business lines Effective team player who is experienced in working across cultures, geographies / time zones and business lines Excellent written and spoken communication skills demonstrating an ability to communicate with impact to audiences at different levels in the organisation You\'ll achieve more when you join HSBC.
