ABOUT ROLE We are looking for MLOps engineer who will bring to bear tools & technology standard methodologies to improve delivery performance & capabilities in the Data & Analytics space. As an MLOps engineer, you will help build best-in-class Machine Learning (ML) infrastructure to enable AstraZeneca\xe2\x80\x99s AI initiatives. You will lead and drive the deployment, life cycle management and monitoring of Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) models in in all stages leading to production. You will work directly with Data Scientists and the rest of the Data Platform Engineering team to productionize ML/DL models developed for cloud and edge environments. With your experience in MLOps tools and frameworks, you will work to improve Data scientist and Data engineer productivity and delivery speed by enabling them to be more self-sufficient with automated operational processes.

• Define, deploy and manage processes and tools for continuous integration (CI/CD), test-driven development, and release management for ML/DL models (Machine Learning and Deep Learning based) and data pipelines.
• Code and/or script solutions to automate processes for ML/DL model deployments, retraining, testing and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, ML Engineers, cloud platform and application engineers to create and implement cloud policies and governance for ML/DL model life cycle.
• Build and improvise the automated tools to build infrastructure, monitoring and alerting system and visualization
• Ensures consistency to performance standards and compliance to data and model security requirements.
• Setup pipelines, design and develop RESTful APIs for ML solution deployment
• Has an automation attitude and continuously focus on improving current processes
• Keep up with emerging standard methodologies in MLOps and drive adoption as necessary.
• Proactively find issues and consult on possible solutions. Should be good at problem solving.

Mandatory skills

• Experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, RDS, Sagemaker, EKS, ECS, Lamda , Step Functions, EMR etc
• Experience in architecting, developing and deploying enterprise-scale machine learning solutions in Life Sciences, Medical Diagnostics, Utilities and/or industrial sectors.
• Experience building large scale data processing pipelines. e. g. Hadoop/Spark and SQL.
• Experience in one or more MLOps tools such as Kubeflow, MLFlow, Pachyderm, DVC etc.
• Experience with containers and microservice architectures e.g. Kubernetes, Docker and serverless approaches.
• Intermediate or Advanced skills in Python or R. Experience with PySpark is a plus.
• Ability to work with multi-functional and remote teams.
• Good written and verbal skills, fluent English
