We are currently looking to bring on a talented, self-motivated and conscientious Senior Business Analyst to work in our busy development of our submission platform focusing on helping researchers publish to leading journals. You will be responsible for managing and delivering new features alongside a talented team of engineers that will enrich the experience of our users and partnersand report toEngineering manager . What you'll be doing: Design technology solutions by connecting business, technology, user and customer requirements. Create and manage the Functional workflow. Work with the Architect to come up with the Architecture Diagram Convert solutions into user stories along with acceptance criteria, wireframe and additional support documents Create and own product backlog Work with the testing lead and the testing team for creating the test plan. Help project sponsors and product owners to prioritise the user stories Keeping in touch with every stakeholder regularly Helping to further the Agile community within the organisation Helping the team to continuously improve their process Qualifications A technology evangelist, well aware of technology trends A strong belief in agile and lean thinking Ability to connect business, technology and user requirements to create technology solutions An entrepreneurial attitude that gets high quality projects done quickly Being passionate about your craft and want to be surrounded by like-minded individuals Having worked with multiple Agile methodologies including SCRUM, Kanban, XP, Lean Care about selecting the right tool for the right job Being comfortable working at all tiers of modern applications, from the frontend all the way to the database Ability to collaborate well with others but are excited to own a big feature A Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science Have a minimum 6+ years industry experience Have some exposure to the publishing domain Additional Information 24 days annual leave 4 volunteering days annually Day off for your birthday Pension contributions Medical insurance for self and dependants life cover and personal accident cover for self Seasonal social and charitable events Training and development Blended style and flexi working time Right tools for remote working At Taylor & Francis we care about our colleagues, promoting work-life balance, wellbeing and flexible working.
