As a Senior Analyst - Quality you'll be responsible for providing PPAP, DMR support for incoming quality.

What you'll do

• Responsible to evaluate 8D, PPAP submitted by suppliers on the defects reported by plants. Identify the gaps in submitted documents , communicate back to supplier & take follow up for correction
• Responsible to Lead NPI projects for PPAP with global stakeholders and complete within defined timeline
• Work as a co-coordinator between suppliers and internal functions/plants (Engineering, plants, Operations, etc.) to clarify requirements, eliminate confusion, and improve closure lead time
• Will be Responsible for effectively communicate within the organization and with internal and external customers
• Trouble shoot flawless closures of PPAP, DMR in coordination with global supplier and stake holders
• Lead projects in team and act as SPOC for multiple sites or customers
• Identify, investigate, and Resolve Supplier Technical and/or System issues related to product or process realization to have effective DMR closures
• Collaborate with on site quality team on day-to-day basis to meet/exceed business expectations
• Encourage & implement Continuous Improvement culture within team & at supplier end
• Record and maintain transaction record and periodically reported out for reviews
• Responsible to follow-up with multiple stakeholders to meet the defined TAT
• Flexible to work in shifts.
• Assist in data analysis and business growth
• Support process transitions through on time and accurate documentation
• Proactive & result driven approach to meet KPIs.
• Follows defined process and look for possible process improvements through Kaizens
• Knowledge of Improvement tools - Kaizen, TIMWOODS (8 waste) etc.
• Anticipate customer requirements and provide customer centric solutions
• Understand customer requirement and quick turnaround time on Adhoc requests

Your qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical/Production & Industrial Engineering from an accredited institution is preferred with 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing setup.
• Excellent knowledge of problem solving tools, APQP & PPAP process, Six Sigma Working knowledge of statistical tools including SPC, Gauge R&R and capability analysis, 8D, Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as Electrical/ Electronics /Sheet Metal/Rubber/Molding/Machining /Casting is preferred as per sequence
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent written, verbal communication and learning ability skills
• Decision Making and Problem Solving
• Self driven, able to work efficiently in a team environment
• Time / Priority Management ,Presentation Skills
• Effective Collaboration & Cross Cultural Teamwork
• Hands on experience in SAP
• Experience in working with global customers & suppliers
