Responsibilities This role is for Data Quality Senior Analyst- ETL Tester:
Interacts with vendor resources for delivery.
Resolves complex and highly variable issues.
Analyzes trends at an organizational level to improve processes; follows and analyzes industry trends.
Manages organizational process change.
Develops and implements methods for cost, effort and milestones of IT Quality activities. Strives for continuous improvements and streamlining of processes.
Ensures consistency and quality of processes across the organization. Exhibits in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of these elements in other areas.
Requires in-depth understanding of how own area integrates within IT Quality and has basic commercial awareness.
Collaborates with local and global stakeholders like QA team, development team, UAT team, etc. to ensure project stability and productivity.
Responsible for handling day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Experience in Software testing lifecycle and methodologies System, Integration testing, Regression testing, Exploratory testing, Ad-hoc testing etc. and their corresponding tools.
Proficient in SQL
Worked on Unix scripts to execute and maintain end to end execution of ETL testing process and also execute the Ab Initio jobs through Control center.
Setup automation ETL process (Ab Initio Graphs) included data loaded from source files to DMART with showing exception reports and number of default values.
Proficient in writing complex SQL queries for functional testing and finances and risk consumer report validation. Strong understanding of Banking Data Modeling is required.
Complete regression and integration testing as necessary. Design regression automation testing to validate results between UAT and Production.
Be an expert in executing test cases, managing and analyzing large sets of data, creating automation scripts and communicating relevant insights to the teams.
Understand Banking and Finance data model to conduct test cases based on changed request (CR) and consumer subscriptions validation.
Execute and understand ETL data pipelines with data loading from staging to DMART database platform.
Strong knowledge on UNIX shell scripts to validate raw data from Product processor source files (.dat files) before loading to DMART tables.
Analyze business requirements and technical specifications for organizationally utilized applications. Build and maintain the corresponding test strategy, test plans, and test cases.
Analyze test results and logs defects in JIRA. Partner with project team members on the resolution and re-testing of identified defects and issues
Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across work streams
Strong willingness & comfort taking on and challenging development approaches
Conduct and facilitate UAT and Regression Testing
Be proactive with leadership abilities with a strong "can do attitude"
Responsibilities:
Defines strategies to drive data quality measurement, produce data quality dashboards and reports, and implement data quality strategies to effectively govern data and improve data quality.
Works with data quality partners and Technology teams to identify and implement data quality tools. Identify critical data elements, data quality rules, thresholds, and other business requirements.
Designs/analyzes moderately complex reports to satisfy management requirements.
Ability to automate repetitive steps and bring overall efficiency in deliverable
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers
Strong Data warehouse end to end and data completeness testing experience.
Hands-on experience with Data transformation/ manipulation testing
Working Knowledge of data quality/ completeness validation (SQL scripting)
Creation of Test Plan/ completion documents and project timelines.
Knowledge of project management and execution of multiple projects
Contributes to the development of new techniques and processes and for the aligned business.
Responsible for own work to support business teams in assigned area.
Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams, and is involved in coaching and training of new recruits in business processes and procedures of business
Utilizes communication and diplomacy skills are required.
Responsible for the reviewing, analyzing and dispositioning of the results of those measurements as well as providing detail and summary reporting of the same.
Analyze data quality issues
Interact with business and technical staff who support the Global Functions, ensuring the data quality scorecards are measuring fit for purpose data.
Performs other job duties and functions as assigned.
Qualifications:
8-14 years quality assurance experiences preferred
Ab Initio (Batch graphs, Continuous graphs, Plans) and Unix shell scrips experiences preferred
Experiences database platforms Netezza, Oracle and Teradata
Domain knowledge on Banking and Financial Services experiences preferred
Experience with defining and implementing data quality programs
Minimum of 3 years experience Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence concepts from QA perspective, complex SQL Queries and ETL Banking Data Warehouse Testing.
