Job Description

QA Engineers test code manually and by creating automation tools. Our QA Engineers use black box, gray box, and white box testing techniques; they are able to understand software internals and troubleshoot problems. Our QA Engineers work with Software Developer Engineers, Ad Designers, Ad Operations, and Product Managers to understand our ad systems and ad creation processes. The QA Engineers develop test plans that approximate real-world environments and tools that assist in ad validation. QA Engineers are also responsible for driving the Ad development process toward quality-centric methodologies.
The Role
The successful Quality Assurance Engineer will be obsessed with customer experience, quality improvement, and challenge the status quo. In this role, you will:
Execute manual testing of ad products that are highly customized.
Write and maintain test plans, test cases and test scripts.
Create automation scripts.
Triage bugs, find patterns in bugs and drive quality upstream.
Assist designers, traffickers or other testers to reproduce errant behavior and accurately report defects found.
Execute and verify results of existing automated tests.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
3 years of professional experience functional testing (mobile, tablet and desktop).
Demonstrated working knowledge with various QA methodologies and tools.
Experience in programming of C , Java, Python or Javascript.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in delivering a world-class customer experience (ideally in the digital advertising industry).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Preferred Qualifications
Experience in using Selenium, PowerShell, ADB, and SQL
Experience in developing websites
Experience testing Android and iOS mobile applications
Experience in developing Android or iOS mobile applications
Experience with Kindles or Fire tablets
Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings.
Strong organizational skills, tracking multiple test executions simultaneously and be able to synthesize the results.
Meticulous attention to detail; ability to juggle many tasks in parallel without lowering the quality bar.
