Testing Intermediate Analyst

GFT is looking for a Testing Intermediate Analyst for Global Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) Application.

Responsibilities:
Translate manual regression test cases in automation scripts.
Lead / Execute testing of large cycle applications on UI / backend.
Test case design & development, test case execution, reviews of requirements, and project artefacts.
Develop / Enhance automation framework to increase the automation coverage
Identify and highlight ways to continuously optimize the way in which QA function operates to create an efficient and scalable team.
Acts as advisor and mentor for junior members of the team. Resolves a variety of complex issues through evaluative judgment and analytical thought.
Work with application teams to develop/update end-to-end integrated testing methodologies.
Work with the development and production support teams to investigate issues to prevent production defects.
Delivery reviews to monitor progress/gaps through JIRA dashboards.
Have a thorough and complete understanding of the application and demonstrate strong QA skills to have quality deliverable.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree.
7 years of experience in functional and non-functional testing.
Excellent knowledge of software testing techniques and testing tools.
Experience in developing test automation frameworks for both functional and non-functional tests.
Development & technical skills in Java or any other programming or scripting language.
Analyze the application and identify the key areas for automation
Experience test automation methodologies / tools (Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG)
Excellent knowledge of Agile processes and methodologies.
Knowledge of functional Test tool (JIRA).
Good to have knowledge on API testing, BDD, TDD, Git / GitHub, Jenkins
Good Knowledge of SQL queries.
Basic Knowledge of Unix commands.
Hands on experience in testing at various levels and integration testing.
Hands on experience in automation script review and executing automation scripts.
Exposure to banking / financial domains.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Should be very confident, innovative, self-motivated.
