Position purpose:
Commercially adept sales person from B2B Sales background, where he/she must deliver the year\xe2\x80\x99s budget while building a portfolio of opportunities for future growth. Their individual portfolio will be based on current products into current applications. Work closely with customers to maximize value of our offerings for customers as well as Roquette. In addition, work closely with customers, business developer and CTS to promote new products and applications to maximize value for our products.

Position Location: Position based in Gurgaon/Delhi. Will look after Punjab/Chandigarh/Himachal Pradesh/Jammu & Kashmir Market.

Key competencies requirement

  • Must have worked in B2B sector in North India.
  • Understanding & Knowledge of food & beverages industry will be added advantage
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work as team player.
  • Targets orientation to achieve periodic sales volume and price targets.
  • New business development focus and quick learner.
Key Job Responsibilities

Work closely with Key accounts, Traders/Distributors and End Users to ensure higher level of satisfaction and deliver yearly budgeted numbers and growth.
  • Negotiation with customers for pricing and volumes to ensure optimum level of sales contracts to achieve monthly and yearly volume and price targets.
  • Identifying new markets to add sales funnel for deeper market penetration and desired business growth. Work closely with business developers, CTS team to promote new products and applications to maximize value for our products.
  • Creation of Sales funnel in CRM tool and update it regularly.
  • Regular market visits for developing relationship with existing customers and to add new customers.
  • Lead point of contact for customer. Work closely with Customer Care, demand and supply planner, logistics to ensure timely supplies to customers.
  • Collection follow up with customers to ensure remittances as per agreed payment terms. Work closely with customer care for claim settlement.
  • Prepare reports on account business and monthly/yearly business reports.
  • Reports to Regional Sales Manager.
Academic background: MBA in Sales & Marketing. Chemistry or Food Background will be added advantage.

Learning experience: Minimum 5-7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience. Working in MNC will be added advantage.

Specific competency:
  • Experience in B2B Sales in commodity environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office - specially advanced excel, power point.
