: Roles & Responsibilities : Responsible for all Electrical & Electronics, FW, and SW related projects under sustaining (on-market) engineering. Ensure projects are delivered on time. Publish very detailed project timelines using Microsoft project planner Prepare and maintain project budget requirements and get necessary financial approvals Own & execute few technically complex projects from idea to implementation Ensure cross functional engagement and regional teams' participation in the execution process (including R&D, Product Management, Technical Support, Manufacturing, Sourcing and Finance) Champion technical reviews leveraging cross functional SMEs as appropriate. Review design proposals and participate in design reviews Candidate should have good knowledge and prior experience in qualification of electrical components and HW designs (circuit analysis, circuit design) - digital, mixed signal, serial comm, data acquisition, signal processing, signal integrity, and switching power supply design. Responsible for managing team of component engineers. Candidate should have strong hands-on experience with component life cycle management, alternate identification, proposal development Should have decent command on component compliance requirement & should support product regulatory compliance testing. Work with cross function team to understand customer requirement, participate in system / subsystem design review, finalize electronics design requirement by reviewing with systems & global engineering teams Manage multiple projects simultaneously, tasks & programs to suit business needs Train, mentor and develop technical capability of team member Qualifications: Masters or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering, or related field or equivalent. 13+ years of experience HW design and development. Also should have demonstrated proficiency in working with system/software/Firmware/hardware/ Electrical requirements development and validation PMP certification is add-on Experience using project management tools - Microsoft project planner, RAIL, Resource Heatmaps, PPM pro, Asana etc.. Experience in embedded system design with 8/16/32-bit microprocessor design Excellent understanding of analog, digital and power supply design fundamentals. Strong knowledge of Software & Firmware Engineering principles Strong knowledge /experience with embedded systems firmware development for sensors & control application algorithm developments. Experience gate / technical review process, good at documentation for technical solution Familiar with knowledge of EMC/EMI, CCC, UL, RoHS Proficient in debugging instruments (digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers) Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, designs.
