Job Description

The purpose of Quality Analyst is to provide the means and the measures for testing all the aspects of a software solution, both functionally and technically, in order to meet the requirements and overall quality of the intended solution.Roles and Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

• Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.

• Estimate, prioritize and coordinate testing activities.

• Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts.

• Manage all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected.

• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

• Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.

• Participate in review processes and work closely with developers to debug issues throughout the product/software lifecycle.

Requirement:

• 2+ years of experience in manual web and mobile app testing.

• AI/ML and IoT based project testing experience is an added advantage.

• Clear communicator (written and verbal) to ensure ability to write test plans and test cases. To communicate bugs to developers and other stakeholders.

• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables ensures the ability to find the bad defects and bugs quickly.

• Knowledge of automation testing will be an added advantage.

• Work experience in an Agile/Scrum environment creating test requirements from user stories.
