We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Project Manager.

In this role, you will:

• Work with the various business and functional stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and be responsible for forming strategic solutions in conjunction with the Architecture team.
• Be accountable for shaping and re-organising the various reporting teams within Management Services, creating a strong devops team, and delivering solutions for all Management Services stakeholders.
• Drive cloud migration projects, understand challenges, remove blockers, help to setup a proper model for cloud build, implementation, release, and support.
• Accountable for delivering Reporting solutions from inception to Production, to agreed timescales and budget. Accurately estimate build/design/development effort and cost, and held accountable to deadlines.
• Define risks and issues, and propose solutions/mitigations before they are realised.
• Ensure proposed solution designs utilise group approved technology and adhere to approved design patterns. Research current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed.
• Work with the architecture team to ensure that the deployed system solutions are appropriately hosted (Internally, Externally, Cloud, PaaS, SaaS) including the corresponding governance and relevant approval processes (both internal to HSBC and external/ country level/ regulatory)
• Be responsible for team management covering resource management, perm vs service provider ratio etc. Drive Enterprise Technology initiatives, such as Mode2 adaption. Ensure Reporting adherence to all HSBC dev/sec ops requirements

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Relevant strong experience as a team lead and reporting applications.
• Demonstrate strong experience in application design, development life cycle, testing through to automated deployment and Production support.
• Knowledge and understanding of Corporate/ Head Office systems and processes with a focus on business management/cost management such as HIBS, Clarity, GPDM, Pioneer etc.
• Demonstratable experience in reporting applications, eg Qlik or Cognos, etc and data modelling a must.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Increase effectiveness of current teams by optimizing the workforce
• Strong team management skill set
