About This Role Zoom\'s Online Business team is looking for a QA Engineer to test the functional and technical aspects of B2C including eCommerce and Online capabilities. As a QA engineer on our team, you\'ll contribute to both our manual and automation testing efforts. You should have attention to detail and dedication to deliver high-quality results. To be successful, you should be self-motivated driven to achieve and exceed commitments. You also need to exude exceptional collaboration skills, including the ability to mentor and be mentored. This position will partner with Business Systems Analysts, Developers and Product Managers to understand business requirements and collaboratewith multiple technology teams to improve quality and Zoom\'s online customer adoption. This position will be dynamic and challenging and we are looking for the right individual that can think on their feet and really embrace new challenges as they come along. Responsibilities: Enforce best practice processes in the areas of functional, system, and regression testing using a combination of manual and automated testing Define test scope, write, and execute test plans and suites for web, packaged, and mobile applications Report and track defects to closure Able to execute multiple projects while managing issues and mitigating risks Perform root cause analysis of production bugs and report the same to all stakeholders Meet aggressive delivery timelines, coordinate well with remote teams, have the flexibility of working the time differences, and proactively solve problems Keep stakeholders well-informed of testing progress and status, articulating issues, problems, impacts, and support needs Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships to co-ordinate E2E testing Communicate fluently and effectively with all levels of business users, technical teams, and management across the organization Able to juggle conflicting/changing priorities and maintain a positive attitude in the face of extremely challenging and fast-paced deliverables Qualification: A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience to strongly demonstrate the following skills and knowledge: Test design and management, communication skills, analytical skills, interpersonal skills, and group facilitationskills. This should include experience with defect tracking tools and working knowledge of test and defect life cycle and how it ties to the SDLC process A minimum of 6 years relevant experience in testing any e-commerce, subscription billing, and payment management platforms (Packaged or Custom) Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, QA terminology, and processes Successful track record of executing QA for large cross-functional programs Knowledge and experience working in agile software development Knowledge and experience working on life cycle management tools like Jira, DevOps, Zephyr, and TestRail Knowledge and experience working on SFDC, Zuora SMP, and Oracle CPQ is an added advantage Knowledge and experience Test automation tools like Selenium, Tosca, and Appium are an added advantage Previous experience testing web Services (SOAP, REST, and Micro Services) is good to have We believe that the unique contributions of all Zoomies is the driver of our success.
