Job Description


Who we are looking for
QA Engineer develops the testing function from strategy through the delivery. The role is responsible for defining, mentoring, guiding the testing team on testing discipline, software quality assurance methodolodiges and effective implementation of testing processes globally.
What you will be responsible for
As the QA Engineer you will

  • Good experience with ORMB Application (minimum 2 Yrs)
  • Create test scenarios and implement manual/automated functional, System and interface test cases that will serve as acceptance test criteria for new functionality enhancement for financials applications.
  • Work closely with developers and quality assurance members to work on test case design based on the scoped requirements
  • Work with the support group to reproduce production problems and identify gaps in the regression test suite.
  • Work with developers to utilize and extend custom test harnesses for applications.
  • Find ways to enhance the testing process with new tools, strategies or techniques.
  • Maintain and enhance Test Regression Suite regularly.
  • Contributes to development of production implementation plans
  • Participates in production implementation “walkthroughs”, providing recommendations regarding production readiness.
  • Provides input to the “go/no-go” decision along with other stakeholder groups, for complex implementations as needed Other requirements for this role

  • Ability to multi-task, meet aggressive timelines with strong work ethics
  • Experience of working in a financial industry preferably in Compliance, Finance, or Regulatory Reporting.
  • Experience with systems development methodologies

What we value

  • 6-7 years of experience with global testing methods and execution, including automation
  • Experience with ERP Applications (Cloud and on Premises) such as Oracle, Peoplesoft and Billing applications like ORMB or OUAF etc
  • Demonstrated project management skills and understanding of Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative Methodologies
  • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
  • Detail oriented with strong management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bacheler’s degree

Additional requirements
Travel up to 25% might be required
