ContiTech

• Development, follow up and exploitation of the success potentials of the supplier market to

safeguard and increase the competitiveness, increase continuously the creation of added value,
quality and cash flow (Savings and Innovations)

• Localization - Strategic purchasing for local materials
• Development of new sourcing markets, including Implementation of alternative products / new

supplier

• Realization of defined cost reduction projects
• Optimization of purchasing processes, supply chain and stock level in regards to cost and supply
• Support the plants in the implementation of the global program
• Support of the supplier qualification ( Analyses of potential and assessment) for a global

procurement in collaboration with other department/functions

• Collaboration in the definition of Product specifications with suppliers with the strategic

material development manager

• Ensuring short mid-and long-term material supply of all related production facilities under

consideration of optimized cost, quality and technological aspects

• Secure the supplies of production material on time
• Internal and external correspondence for the area of responsibility, close communication with

other departments/functions

• Performance and evaluation of functional audits including follow-up
• Identification of best sources of supply for specific projects

1. Work experience of 5 - 7 years
2. Graduate from Polymers / Chemicals / Textiles / Mechanical
3. Should have SAP hands on experience, basic IT skills like MS-office, etc
4. Language - English, Hindi, Marathi
