Project Manager

JOB PURPOSE

A Project Manager is at the heart of Bayer's transformation and has a key role in delivering on Bayer's project portfolio. He / she leads
medium / large projects within Bayer and / or oversees a program. In both cases the candidate will be accountable for delivering on the
successful implementation and stabilization of the assigned projects or programs.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Steer and oversee achievement of Project / Program Goals for the respective Bayer function globally.
• Act as the accountable key contact and trusted lead advisor for the project / program you are running.
• Ensure regular alignment of project teams to enable implementation of best practices and standard work

packages.

• Responsible for regular Project / Program reporting to both functional leadership teams and Operations.
• Ensure adherence to the established SSCDN guardrails and methodologies and leverage best practices.
• Define and align the program roadmap and resource requirements with the respective resource managers and

key stakeholders.

• Safeguard change management aspects which have a cross process impact on other Bayer processes.
• Manage risks and issues and take corrective actions on a Project / Program level.
• Ensures any new Quality and Process Management aspects are identified, communicated, documented, and

implemented.

• Guarantee early identification of IT requirements for the Project / Program and alongside the function ensure

planning of delivery and budget allocation.

• Lead the Project / Program with a strong attention on strategy, implementation and delegation

WHO YOU ARE

Qualifications

• Degree- Bachelor's/Master's degree in the relevant field Business Admin/Project Management or equivalent
• Overall experience of 8+ years and 3+ years in Project Management
• Prior Experience in Project Management for ERP/SAP4Hana implementations- will be an added advantage.
