Summary / Role Purpose
Join the Ansys Customer Excellence team to partner with Ansys Application Engineering Team, Sales, Product Marketing, and R&D Teams to capture know-how in Industry Best Practices that enable customers to solve their real-world engineering problems, deploy solutions in their design workflows, and grow Ansys business.

The Senior Project Manager leads the scoping and planning of key content projects and successfully executes against the established commitments. Serves as the central focal point of contact, and coordinates and manages all communication of cross-functional teams across all levels of ANSYS. Provides the central collaboration point between Ansys Customer Excellence, Sales, Marketing, and Product Development Teams.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Guide complex development engagements to successful outcomes using Project Management experience, planning and negotiation skills, subject matter expertise and industry knowledge
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goal, requirements, and deliverables
Define project tasks and resource requirements
Develop and manage Project and Program level initiatives and coordinate project plans
Establish self as a trusted advisor to the ACE Team members; understand their key business initiatives, customer engagement processes, and engineering design workflows
Manage and track project resource allocations, timelines, and deliverables across multiple interconnected workstreams
Partner with Sales, Product Marketing, and R&D Teams to participate in projects as reviewers
Work independently within multi-disciplinary teams across geographies
Develop new and streamline existing process & tools with the goal to improve the user experience and operational efficiency
Develop templates and guidelines to streamline project execution

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
Required education and degree type: BS, MS or PhD in Engineering
Required minimum years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS 8, MS 6, or PhD 3
Experience working in engineering / product development environment
Proven experience in project management or complex project management with multiple workstreams
Proven stakeholder management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead status presentations, fluent in writing and speaking English
Strong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgency
Projects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeed
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Competency in Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages for the solution of real-world customer problems

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Preferred education and years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS 12, MS 10, or PhD 7
6 years of experience in technology and digital content development projects
Experience with both Waterfall and Agile Project Management methodologies
Ability to interact effectively with senior business managers
Education: ME/ M.Tech./ MS (Engg/ Sciences)r r r r r r r Any Graduate
