Responsibilities About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineering Senior Manager to focus on Site Reliability Engineering and Technology Operations for Application & Event Management Products and Services.

In this role, you will:
Manage and develop teams of experienced Technology Operations team members in roles with moderate complexity and risk
Partner with more experienced product leaders, lead systems architects, and engineering managers to develop product functional and technical strategies for the line of business product portfolio, and with more experienced product leaders to drive strategic outcomes
Deeply involved in automation ,developing monitoring and observability, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions
Identify and recommend opportunities for continuously improving Operations and Site Reliability Engineering practices
Determine appropriate strategy and actions of business line product portfolio teams to meet moderate to high risk deliverables, providing expertise and thought leadership in the portfolio domain
Interpret and develop actionable strategies and plans for teams and supported areas
Oversee engineering teams to deliver commitments aligned to line of business strategic priorities
Support financial forecast and budget development
Recommend risk management requirements for supported area and partner with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
Collaborate with and influence stakeholders, more experienced product leaders, and all levels of professionals, including senior managers
Act as the primary interface with third party vendors and technology service providers supporting products within the portfolio
Interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry forums
Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in Software Engineering
Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:
Has strong experience managing mission critical services in a large scale production environment
Automating the deployment, scaling, monitoring, alerting, and resilience of our platform with a focus on reducing Operational Toil and building efficient operations.
Improving the Site Reliability Maturity of our applications in line with the SRE Maturity model
Participate in deep technical discussions within your team, and across partner teams, and ensure that we're building the right systems and keeping the quality high.
Strong hand on coding and scripting experience in one or more of the following: Java/.net / Python/Powershell
Strong Monitoring and Observability skills with application performance management and log analytics tools such as App Dynamics, Prometheus, Splunk, ELK
Experience in creating Service Level Objectives and managing Service Level Indicators, Error Budgets for multiple products
Mentor, grow, and empower the team by giving them the skills, confidence, and motivation to make decisions independently that lead to their personal and professional success, and enable them to become technical leaders.
Manage high-visibility projects delivery for the organization operating in an agile manner.
Manage daily deliverables, issues and resolutions, act as a point of escalation and resolution
Drive best practices in service delivery such as RCA and corrective actions, continuous improvements / operations efficiency
Coach the team on SREs principles: automation, visibility improvements, toil reduction, self-healing, and root cause analysis
Drive a culture of reliability, and ensuring teams are aligned around common priorities and approaches
Has a track record of managing high-performing teams whilst still being hands-on.in technology
Partner with senior product leaders, operations managers, engineering managers to develop product functional and technical strategies for the LOB product portfolio.
Oversee teams to deliver commitments aligned to LOB strategic priorities.
May recommend risk management requirements for supported area and partner with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives.
Excellent people management ability including Talent Management, Career planning, Retention, Skill building etc. working along with internal teams

Job Expectations:
