We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of : Associate Project Manager

Location:Pune/Hyderabad

In this role, you will

• Working with the Operations Project Sponsors, Technology Architects, Business Analyst(s) and Development teams, manage the delivery (both to timescale and budget) of the Sponsors needs as part of the R&C, WoMC & BoW
• Project and/or Program Governance meetings
• Managing program strategy and the program approach across a series of projects or component activities, building stakeholder buy-in around plans, commitments and changes.
• Driving and supporting Technology teams to manage delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, resourcing, dependencies, communications and budgets, ensuring adherence to standard controls (e.g. TDAs)
• Managing, monitoring, and reporting progress, issues, dependencies and risks to internal stakeholders and/or steering committees. Strong communicator, making recommendations to influence decision-making in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realization.
• Delivers solutions which supports and aligns to HSBC\xe2\x80\x99s strategic visions and roadmaps.
• Direct the efforts of IT Project Managers, Business Analysts, Solution Architects and other specialist resources to deliver multiple projects within one or many streams within the program.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

• Experience in dealing with senior management, business partners and wide array of global stakeholders.
• Ability to build connections, working collaboratively with strong written & verbal communication & negotiation skills
• Proactively identifies and manages risk, building plans to manage.
• The role requires a sound understanding of a value unit / product / region / legal entity, alongside a good understanding of the industry and the challenges and changes in the sector.
• Management responsibilities for a sizeable team of professionals (including responsibility for budget, and planning.
• Good experience in departmental management support
• Strong data analysis skills to transform data into meaningful action that drive change
• Strong presentation skills using PowerPoint and dashboards for executive reports and outward presentations
• Outstanding collaboration and teamworking skills. A track record of building strong partnership with business and supporting functions.
• Customer centric, curious, and commercially minded, with an eye for the opportunities and benefits that technology can deliver.
• Experience of tracking and monitoring team roadmap and milestone
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience. Preferably in Financial Service
• Degree in Technology or Business related subject preferred
• Excellent English written and verbal skills.
