Key Responsibilities: * Lead all project stage gates, from Basic Engineering to Start-Up, maintaining a strategic focus on project needs and long-term company goals.

• Participate in Proposal and Project Kick-off Meetings, ensuring the development and delivery of the right deliverables to meet quality standards and client requirements.
• Utilize project management methodologies, systems, and tools as defined by the company or customer.
• Lead the project team, facilitate communication among stakeholders, and track project progress against schedule, budget, and quality.
• Review objectives, report status to management and customers regularly, and develop recovery plans for off-schedule occurrences.
• Prepare periodic management and customer reports and presentations.
• Coach and mentor the project team to achieve project goals.
• Lead weekly Project Meetings with discipline engineering leads and review project estimates monthly.
• Manage project budget, control expenses, and provide feedback on employee performance.
• Recommend new processes to improve quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
• Identify project scope changes and prepare job change notices for client submission.
• Maintain awareness of safety and environmental requirements.
• Negotiate differences with clients and internal personnel to meet project goals.
• Review and approve key project documents related to scope, including P&IDs, Plot Plans, Operating Manuals, etc.
• Work with Project Controls to transition proposed budget into execution budget, track costs, and report against budget.
• Supervise the project admin assistant for timely project administrative issue resolution and invoicing.
• Participate in the Project Proposal to ensure proper definition of Scope of Work.
• Develop Project Execution Plan and ensure adherence to Good Engineering Practices.
• If required, participate in HAZOP, CHAZOP, PSM, Hazard Identification, SIL Studies, etc.

Experience/Knowledge/Technical Skills Required:

• B. Tech /M. Tech or equivalent in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 18-25 years of experience in Project Management functions of reputed Engineering Consultants.
• Working experience in Project Management in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Upstream and downstream experience in O&G is desired, with Petrochemical experience as an added advantage.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Broad understanding of engineering disciplines and project procedures.
• General understanding of contract administration, business principles, and business law.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Project Manager/Delivery Manager.
• Effective computer skills including MS Project, Microsoft Office Software, Microsoft Outlook, and other relevant software applications. Knowledge of Primavera tool is an added advantage.
