• Job Summary:
• This role is to perform program management in new spaces & innovations for vehicle applications, primarily focusing on regional markets in APAC. Candidate shall work with technical experts, product strategy, sales, SCM, quality, marketing and manufacturing plants in order to manage the product development, launch and sustenance for electronic products such as connectors, battery safety, bus bar, system engineering, software development. Candidate must have demonstrated experience in project schedule, budget management, stakeholder management, cross functional team communication, milestone planning and execution with status updates to leadership from time to time. CSM & PMP certified PM will be preferred for this role.
• Job Responsibilities
• Collaborate with product line and engineering to define the scope, budget, resources and timelines for project planning & initiation
• Create a detailed project schedule in consultation with the cross functional team by reverse tracking from launch date (OEM/EATON)
• Assess the project risk class with functional team inputs, create a risk-registry for tracking, mitigating and retiring with clear evidence.
• Set-up budget tracker for monitoring the project expenses and control where necessary for both material, labor and non-recurring
• Drive project team meetings with CFT to define, track and close out actions with respect to critical milestones and deliverables.
• Actively negotiate with customers on project pull-ahead scenarios for parts development, testing and customer funded prototypes.
• Engage manufacturing and SCM early on in the project to drive the supplier identification / development, sourcing and manufacturing plans.
• Demonstrated experience in managing a end to end project management in automotive domain either in conventional / mechatronic systems.
• Adept in conflict resolution, negotiation and teamwork, should have strong collaboration & partnership to manage projects in a matrix organization.
• Certifications: CSM is must, PMP highly preferred for this role.
• Proficiency in MS Project

Qualifications

Requirement –
BE/BTech (Electronics, Mechanical)
7 ~ 10 years of experience with multinational engineering organization
CSM certified, PM competency, PMP certified, MSP, understanding of electronic & mechanical system.
Work & interact with global cross-functional and cross-cultural team. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to clearly communicate to internal/external customers and suppliers. Yes!
