The Competitor Monitoring Team (CMT) within Selling Partner Services, has operations based in India manages pricing for millions of items sold on Amazon worldwide and owns providing intelligence to business to ensure competitive pricing. : Sr. Program Manager Automation will be responsible for end to end pricing automation operations of retail categories in various Amazon international marketplaces. The job involves end to end business planning including but not limited to creating annual plans and strategy for execution, ensuring operational rigor and designing high business impact processes. He/she will be the strategic point of contact to the retail teams of Amazon worldwide and must therefore be comfortable and confident liaising with remote teams and senior leaders. He/She will manage business impact via functional activities and will be accountable for designing and delivering on all KPIs of the same. The individual will interface and drive agenda with the automation & technology teams to build scalable solutions and in addition he/she will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security and integrity of Amazon\'s systems and data. The role involves influencing peers and stakeholders in other functions to achieve the operational and business goals assigned. A successful candidate will have an established background in driving a complex program portfolio with considerable impact, excellent program management, problem solving and communication skills and be comfortable interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels. The candidate should have a history of driving deep insights from complex data, ability to write compelling business documents and drive outcomes for senior leadership at Amazon. The ability to influence cross functionally and across the organization, at all levels, will be absolutely critical to success in this role. Basic qualifications: 8+ yrs experience of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience. Has a background in quantitative decision making, ability to drive business/operations metrics, and driving adoption of different tools and resources. . Has managed critical operational processes, with end to end business responsibility. . Analytical, mediation and problem resolution skills. . Hands on experience in Retail, eCommerce and supply chain functions. . Demonstrated leadership with a bias towards action, supporting a culture of ownership and learning. . Skilled in collaborative management environment, succeeding through regular meetings and clear formal and informal communication with members of the remote and local management teams. . Proven history of delivering results while owning complex cross-functional launches partnering with central teams. Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills excellent interpersonal skills Preferred qualifications A successful candidate will need have a developed skill-set in the following areas: . Process and Tech orientation ability to find efficient solutions to problems and automate tasks. . Stakeholder management experience ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets. . Ability to drive implementation and adoption of key programs / initiatives. . Operational support and passion, with experience in establishing, measuring, and meeting service level agreements, improving the availability, performance, and quality of systems, and managing complex on-the-fly operational problems . High bias for action . . Ability to thrive and perform in an ambiguous setting sound judgment and flexibility in balancing program requirements, tight deadlines, and keeping people and projects moving on schedule. . Exposure to working with technology teams and solving operational issues using technology. . Ability to influence stakeholders to devise business plans to improve the metrics Key job responsibilities . Experience of managing complex business processes/Programs at scale. . Drive end-to-end high impact and high visibility programs that impact pricing and hence customer experience on Amazon . Good communication and influencing skills with an ability to deal with a fast-paced environment. . Experience in defining, developing and using metrics to drive the vision and manage the business. . Analyze data and dive deep into processes to derive insights for enhancing systems . Ability to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by diving deeply into business and technical domains. . Liaise with tech, product, ops and category teams to ensure timely deliverables for key projects . Ability to work effectively & independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. . Write compelling business documents and drive outcomes for senior leadership at Amazon . Designing and developing strong relationships with senior stakeholders in the Retail business. . Ensuring high quality standards for interviewing and hiring employees at all levels of the organization. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Bangalore, KA, IND BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of program or project management experience - 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience - 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience - 3+ years of driving process improvements experience - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
