The Professor will create and deliver engaging and effective courses that align with the College\'s curriculum and mission. The Professor will also be expected to mentor and advise students, engage in academic and professional development activities, and participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives. Qualifications: Doctorate degree in Pedagogy of Tamil or a related field Proven experience teaching at the college level Strong knowledge of pedagogy of Tamil and current educational trends and methods Ability to integrate technology into lessons Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to mentor and advise students Strong commitment to research and publication Passion for inspiring and guiding students to reach their full potential. Responsibilities: Delivering engaging and effective courses in the field of Pedagogy of Tamil Conducting research and publishing in the field Mentoring and advising students Engaging in academic and professional development activities Participating in departmental and college-wide initiatives Collaborating with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and programs Maintaining strong relationships with alumni, other colleges and universities, and industry partners Staying current with advancements in the field of Pedagogy of Tamil and education.
