The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, mentoring and advising students, conducting research and contributing to the development of the department. The ideal candidate should have a strong commitment to academic excellence and a passion for teaching and learning. Responsibilities: Teach courses in the field of economics and pedagogy at the undergraduate and graduate levels Mentor and advise students on academic and career matters Engage in ongoing scholarly research and publish findings in academic journals Participate in departmental, college and community activities Contribute to curriculum development and program review Collaborate with colleagues to promote interdisciplinary approaches to teaching and learning Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Economics, Pedagogy or a related field is required A minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience at the university level A record of scholarly research and publications in academic journals Strong commitment to student-centered teaching and learning Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to work effectively as a member of a team Eligibility: Candidates with a background in economics, education or a related field are eligible for this position Experience in teaching economics, pedagogy or teacher training is preferred Note: Salary for all positions will be based on qualification and experience and will not be a limiting factor for the right candidate
