What You\'ll Be Doing: Functional JD for Product Owner Position : We are looking for a Product Owner for the Product Management Team. Position Summary: Evolent is looking for bright and energetic individuals to be a Product Owner. This is an individual contributor Role who will be working closely with internal/external teams, various stakeholders, clients, etc. Roles & Responsibilities: Take lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and creating requirements. Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product. Define product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities. Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy. Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI. Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals. Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product. Follow our competitors and the industry. Keep abreast of Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends. Assisting/collaborating to work on the functional decomposition of the requirements. Ensuring that the Requirement understanding is crystal clear with the SCRUM Team and the team is confident of the deliverables. Work collaboratively with the release management to ensure that we have all the formal signoffs, and the deployment is seamless. Should have exceptional stakeholder collaboration abilities. Should be able to determine the gap in requirements and/or solution. Should be able to empathize with the users and come up with creative solutions to overcome the challenges. Should be able to collaborate with the internal team members as well. Should be able to understand the Roadmap/Features and prepare well in advance so that the team\'s momentum is not disturbed. Attending the SCRUM Ceremonies and giving inputs where needed Keen eye for quality of the product and be able to work with the QA Engineers to understand the test strategy/Plan. Mandatory Skills : Requirements Analysis/elicitation - Prepare robust requirements documentation and take a sign off from the stakeholders before the SCRUM Teams can use the information. Collaboration - Work closely with systems analysts to understand the outcome of impact analysis and ensure that there are least of the dependencies. Certifications such as CSPO/SAFe POPM Agile SCRUM methodology Knowledge US Healthcare IT (Information Technology) Knowledge Stakeholder management - both Internal and External. Communication - Should have excellent Written and Verbal communication skills. Documentation abilities ex. User stories, Use Cases, Release notes, Help Guides, etc. Exposure or understanding of working with Tools like Jira, VSTS(Azure), Confluence, etc. Preferred Skills : Experience in US Healthcare Value Based Experience in US Healthcare Payer Domain. Preferably experience with member, provider, and claims finance Qualification and Experience : Bachelor\'s/master\'s degree in computer science or related fields 3-5 years of relevant Product management experience Mandatory Requirements: We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.
