Key Responsibility

Detailed technical understanding of the Microfocus Test Tools (ALM, UFT, APLS etc.) to identify the deployment planning and integration with other tools. Should be able to perform the following

Plan, install, deploy, and configure client side and server-side components on Windows desktop and Server environments.

Application Migration & Upgrade, Database Migration from Oracle to MS SQL. Configure Loadbalancer, secure HTTP, LDAP, FTP and SSO services for the application. Tool workflow customization using VBScript. Technical review of the workflow enhancements and Bugfixes. Manage ALM User and Site Administration activities.

Demonstrable technical troubleshooting capability to gather, analyze and recommend a course of action to isolate and resolve issues.

Fix workflow related issues Fix security vulnerabilities reported from Tenable scans and WAST (web application security testing) via Change Management process.

Ability to digest and translate highly complex technical information, distil and document for knowledge capture and use. Should be able to author all the ITMS documents like Technical Installation Plan/Report, User Requirement Specification, Design Specification, Data Migration Plan/Report, Test Plan, Test Summary Report, Requirement Traceability Matrix, Validation Plan, Validation Report, Decomission Plan/Report etc. and manage them in content management system.

Demonstrable understanding and use of a quality framework associated with working in a highly regulated environment.

Broad understanding of the interoperability and integration of tools and technologies that work across the Waterfall/Agile/DevOps landscape.

Demonstrable understanding of database, programming and scripting technologies and their use in the implementation and use of test tools.

Use OTA API, REST API, Site Admin API in Vbscripting/ Java programming languages for reporting and integrations. Extract the information from ALM database and tables using SQL, PL/SQL

Able to work across cross functional technical teams in order to acquire and facilitate the consumption of information or technical resources in support of service delivery.

Should be able to work with Compliance teams for review and approvals.

Demonstrable capability with working with 3rd party service suppliers and product vendors to manage the delivery of services and to manage issues.

Stakeholder Management

Work closely with stakeholders across business units and levels to understand/determine needs or expectations, validation requirements, billing model, staffing, and oversee the delivery

Ability to lead virtual teams in multiple time zones and countries within ERP global space.

Negotiate additional cost savings on a business-critical project by working closely with the vendor to identify win-win opportunities.

Boosted morale and reduced turnover by improving communications (weekly governance board meetings, Instant Messaging, Shared Team Site) between contractors and permanent team in reviewing current and setting future expectations on deliveries

Job Related Experience/Qualification

10 Years of Test Management experience in implementing and defining testing process for Large implementation preferably in a GxP (regulated) environment

Experience of managing 3rd party suppliers in an onshore/offshore model

Experience in implementing automated regression, Robotics, Performance, load testing tools and principles within testing vertical.

Professional experience in managing the deployment of Testing application platforms from Microfocus and Tricentis.

Preferably master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in information technology.

Professional Advanced Test Management Certification of ISTQB

Professional certification in implementing Automation Tools \xe2\x80\x93 like UFT, work soft, Tosca can be preferred.
