As Occupational Health Advisor, you will deliver high quality and customer focused occupational health (OH) service for Maidenhead Manufacturing Site, meeting business needs across all aspects of occupational health service provision (physical and mental health). You will work closely with other site OH/wellbeing staff to deliver strategic and operational objectives. Ideally this role would be based on-site, however there is some flexibility. This is also a full-time position, but if you are interested and would want to discuss working arrangements/part time working, the role would require 4 days’ commitment per week. • Engineer, introduce and maintain network designs for all aspects of cloud (Azure and GCP) networking components.
• Develop strategy, technical direction and engineering solutions for enterprise-wide cloud networking and data security services supporting key business requirements
• Lead the development and execution of Architecture, Engineering and Operational roadmaps for cloud data networking and data security services globally and drive efforts to validate that strategic direction is aligned with business architecture/direction
• Provide technical leadership for the establishment, and implementation of cloud network data, and security infrastructure solutions utilizing new technologies including Azure and GCP Cloud.
• Provides technical solutions for the establishment and implementation of high availability network solutions, to support convergence of voice, data, and multimedia services and cloud application security architectures.
• Provides clear and concise recommendations to remediate performance/scaling bottlenecks
• Participates in lab testing with other teams to ensure that performance expectations are met before/after rolling out new applications and services.
• Provides escalation support for troubleshooting and resolution of all network data and security issues as required by other infrastructure support teams
• Maintain expertise in data network security technologies to ensure that cost-effective solutions and processes are deployed and aligned with business direction
• Mentor other members of the Network Services team on architectural and engineering best practices by reviewing engineering designs and providing guidance as required
• Partner with business unit and development team SMEs to develop best -practices that can be proactively incorporated into architectural and engineering designs
• Evaluate, select and deploy toolsets to manage, measure, monitor and report cloud network and systems characteristics
• Develop and maintain partnerships with key vendors and ensure that all technology and services roadmaps are understood and leveraged where applicable
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture, PMO, Business IT, Infrastructure Leads, and third party service providers in the conception, evaluation, piloting, engineering and operational delivery of solutions for the organization
• Partner with peers to understand project network architecture and design services and provide input to sourcing solutions for variable resource requirements
• Define and implement methodology templates for total cost of ownership analysis, requirements gathering, infrastructure design, and peer reviews. Develop a culture and process for re-use of solutions templates across projects thereby simplifying the solutions engineering process and improving the productivity of the resources.
• Install & Qualify components into production following company policies & procedures.
• Build relationships which foster collaboration and partnerships to drive better strategies, processes and final product to the customer
• Understand and comply with defined standards for FDA/regulated IT environments
• Participate in IT Risk Management initiatives in line with industry and corporate Audit and Compliance strategies
• Assist with development and management of the Network Services budgets.

Activities:

• Collect, collate, analyse, develop and agree network and network-based services requirements (including systems & process) relating to the future mode architecture and create the high level functional and non-functional specifications that meet the requirements
• Create the appropriate detailed network designs and templates as repeatable global standards to deliver the agreed functional and non-functional requirements
• Evaluation and recommendation of, vendor hardware, software and managed service platforms providing underlay, overlay, systems and tooling capability, driving feature addition and or improvements where appropriate
• Collaboration with the broader Global Networks and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to ensure consistency in design methodology
• Participate in discussions with internal stakeholders, to influence upstream product/application architectures and offerings, IT infrastructure standardisation and related non-functional requirements
• Design, build and run of the Network Integration & Test model ensuring that environment reflects production
• Quality assurance of designs and templates through adoption of industry best practices
• Provide subject matter expertise to implementation and operational teams to guide deployment and in-life troubleshooting of designs
• Network cost economics associated with designs working closely with the Network Modelling and Analysis team
• Maintain a feedback loop with Network Architecture to ensure adherence to architectural standards and with in-life Network Stabilization Leads to ensure feature parity where incremental functionality is introduced into the legacy estate

• Hub and Spoke Architecture in Cloud
• Cloud Native and Third Party Network Transit Solution
• Integration of SDN Technologies with Cloud (e.g. Prisma, Viptella, etc)
• Requires good knowledge of network/telecommunications Operational Support Systems (OSS) and Business Support Systems (BSS)
• Requires detailed understanding of linkages between network design and business success
• Needs to be highly analytical with a good understanding of hardware and software performance and scaling limitations
• Strong presentation skills, capable of articulating complex ideas without ambiguity and making the case for adoption, with the ability to present a high-level vision and story as well as detailed analysis to underpin it. Must be experienced presenting to senior stakeholders
• Senior Network Engineer credibility with strong Network Service Provider (NSP) routing & switching hands on experience combined with a very good understanding of management plane, control plane, data plane, fast switching and network virtualisation technologies

• 7+ years’ experience in network design, technology adoption and cost evaluation in multi-vendor production environments
• In depth knowledge in networks and its supporting ecosystem, experienced in engaging on network topics at all levels internally and externally:
  • Traditional – IP/MPLS, Internet, IPSec, Ethernet, Remote Access, LAN (fixed and Wireless), NAC, 802.1X, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Web Proxies, WAN Optimisation and Telephony
  • Next-generation – SDN, NFV, SD-WAN Spine & Leaf LAN fabrics, Virtual Networking, CASB, Cloud based Firewall/proxy Services, NGFW and Unified Communications
  • Tooling – Active and Passive Instrumentation, Application Aware Network Performance Monitoring & Diagnostics, Application Performance Monitoring
  • OSS – Catalogue driven Orchestration, automation, Intent Based Networking (IBN) and API integrations
• Experience in consulting and workshop facilitation to derive customer requirements
