Job Summary:

As the Principal IT Engineer, you will be the cornerstone of our IT operations, with a focus on managing our IT infrastructure, software, hardware, network security, and access. With 7 to 10 years of experience in IT, your role will be crucial in developing and implementing IT strategies that align with our business objectives. This role involves direct responsibility for IT budget management, disaster recovery planning, and contributing to the overall IT policy and strategy. You will have a unique opportunity to evolve into the Head of IT, significantly influencing our business operations and interacting closely with one of the most prestigious families in India.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive IT strategies, including software and hardware management, network architecture, security protocols, and access controls.

- Oversee and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.

- Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place and regularly updated to safeguard data and infrastructure.

- Manage the procurement, installation, and maintenance of IT systems, productivity tools, integrations and equipment.

- Design and implement disaster recovery plans and backup procedures.

- Lead and mentor the IT team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

- Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and innovations, evaluating their applicability to business goals and IT efficiency.

- Provide strategic IT insights and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

- Coordinate with various departments to ensure IT alignment with overall business objectives.

- Lead key IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in IT, with extensive knowledge in managing IT infrastructure, networks, and systems.

- Proven experience in IT budgeting and financial management.

- Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance regulations.

- Excellent project management skills and experience leading large-scale IT initiatives.
