Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for: - Good knowledge of fire and plumbing international codes such IPC, NFPA and UAE code. Water supply layout/storm water design layout/drainage layout, statutory approval drawings, material take-off from layouts Design of Sprinkler, hydrant and gas based firefighting systems. Hydraulic calculations for water supply/ storage and fire water demand and pressure. Coordination with other MEP and structural services Work within time limits to complete deliverables on time Share knowledge and experience with other staff in the section and organisation particularly to help develop more junior staff Candidate Specification Must have worked on designing of Plumbing and Firefighting systems for Residential/Commercial/Infra projects. Engineer Mechanical or equivalent in respective engineering discipline Relevant years of experience in the field of design Experience in drafting of drafting of plumbing layouts, Schematic diagrams and preparation of BOQ Experience in relevant design software such as Auto CAD, REVIT and IT Literacy Have good oral and written communication skills Job Profile We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
