Pricing Manager - Freight Forwarding We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our multinational organization as a Pricing Manager in the Ocean Freight department. Requirements : - A minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience in a product/pricing role within the Freight Forwarding industry, specifically in the ocean department. - In-depth knowledge of carriers, NVOCCs, routing, and booking terms. - Strong relationships with Container Carriers and proven negotiation skills with vendors. - Familiarity with container planning to minimize costs and optimize efficiency. - Good understanding of CFS operations and processes. Responsibilities : 1. Provide insightful analysis of Import/Export pricing in the market to guide the sales team in Freight Forwarding selling strategies. 2. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to address problem-solving needs. 3. Cultivate and sustain business relationships with shipping companies, air liners, trucking companies, CFS, and international agents to secure the best rates in the market. 4. Coordinate with international agents to ensure timely quotes and achieve customer target levels. 5. Accelerate the analysis of buying and selling rates, closing deals promptly to meet business objectives. 6. Take accountability for increasing profitability within the organization.
