We are a community of Engineering staff that manage and support capital projects as well as plant engineering work to sustain and improve our processes. The successful candidate will collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to provide engineering solutions with a focus on long term maintainability and safety in design. A variety of skills are typically required including technical, business and teamwork in both a plant and office environment. r r r r The Electrical Engineering group within our department is responsible to lead power systems and electrical services scope for Plant Engineering and improvement projects. Application of sound Electrical Engineering principles, experienced leadership for procurement of electrical equipment and leveraging computer-based modelling and power systems analysis tools allows our team to be strong contributors to our professional team. r r r r Accountabilities: r r r r

• r
• Specify equipment and perform design in the area of low voltage (600V) and high voltage (15KV) electrical distribution systems with current and emerging technologiesr
• Lead outside Engineering Consultants and/or lead the scope definition, budget development, specification, design, schedule, installation, commissioning, start-up and troubleshooting of electrical distribution systems and electrical services.r
• Advanced knowledge and application of power system software tools to perform protection coordination, short circuit and arc flash studies (SKM preferred)r
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory codes (OESC), standards and specifications are requiredr
• Project assignments as electrical task manager to support a multi-discipline team environmentr
• Prepare budget cost estimates for engineering solutions and implementationr
• Develop or revise and apply internal specifications and standards based on regulations, industry standards and plant requirementsr

• University Degree in Electrical Engineeringr
• 7+ years of job-related experience (minimum)r
• Licensed P. Eng in the Province of Ontarior

• Office environment with occasional plant visits r
• Normal hours of work are daytime, Monday to Friday (8 hours per day, plus lunch) with occasional extended hours as required due to periods of peak workloads r
• Flexibility to determine workday start and end times, to fit personal needs r
• This position is currently eligible for working remotely up to two days per week.r
